Merritt Farmer was born and raised in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He attended The Citadel, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. He later pursued an MBA, serving as Vice President of the Graduate Student Body.
Merritt went on to attend the Charleston School of Law and is licensed to practice law in South Carolina. He was also named one of the Top 10 DUI Defense Attorneys in South Carolina and is a member of the American Institute of DUI/DWI Attorneys and the Charleston County Bar Association.
Throughout his career, Merritt has successfully represented individuals and businesses across South Carolina. His practice focuses on DWI/criminal defense, civil litigation, and personal injury.
Outside the office, Merritt enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing, and playing tennis. He lives in the Charleston area with his fiancée and their dog, Miller.
